PREPARING FOR PENSION

* To help members plan well for pension.

* To help members to meet their plan target of inverting in a business after active service or setting-up a project after active service. 

The target market is the members of the union, who have attained the age of 45 years and above. However those below 45 years can join.

The maturity of this product is after pension. That is from 60 years from the day of subscription till pension date

This product attract the interest rate of 17 or 18% per annum.

The minimum of payment will depend on the type of project the member will want to invest in. Hence payment will be determined by the investment officer taking into consideration other factors such as inflation rate, among others. 

• Amounts exceeding the usual cash on hand of the Union can only be withdrawn after a period determined by the Management Board.
• Savings cannot be withdrawn if they are frozen to guarantee a loan.
• Neither can savings be withdrawn if the member’s indebtedness is greater than the member’s savings.
• Interest on savings shall be determined by the Management Board from time to time.

Mode of payment will be flexible, that is one can pay by:
* Cash
* Mobile Money Transfer
* Bank Payment or Transfer

* Standing order from the bank

• Continues update of members account on the contributions made.
